1. About these terms

Metabulix is operated by Metabulix Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means anyone using the site. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Medical disclaimer — please read

Our articles, quizzes, tools and products are for education and general wellness support. They are not a diagnosis, and they do not replace medical advice from a qualified practitioner who knows your history.

• Never stop, start or change a prescribed medication on the basis of anything on this site. Speak to your treating doctor first.
• Our quizzes indicate risk. They do not diagnose any condition.
• Nutritional supplements are not medicines and are not intended to treat, cure or prevent any disease.
• In an emergency, contact your nearest hospital. This site is not a substitute for emergency care.

Consultations booked through the site are with qualified practitioners and are subject to their own professional judgement. A practitioner may decline to advise where doing so would be unsafe without an in-person examination.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• The details you give us must be accurate, particularly your delivery address and phone number — we cannot deliver to an address that does not exist.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access.
• We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these terms.

4. Products, prices and availability

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• We try to describe and picture products accurately, but packaging and formulation can change. Always read the label on what you receive.
• Stock is limited. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it; availability is confirmed when you check out.
• Occasionally a product may be listed at the wrong price. Where the error is obvious, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price. We will tell you before doing so.
• We may change prices at any time. A change never affects an order already placed.

5. Orders and payment

• Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm it by email.
• Payment is taken through a third-party payment gateway. We never see or store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials.
• Where cash on delivery is offered, the order is confirmed immediately and payment is collected at the door. A handling fee may apply and is shown before you confirm.
• We may decline an order — for example where stock has run out, the delivery address is outside our service area, or we suspect fraud. If we have taken payment, we refund it in full.

Delivery charges, timelines and serviceability are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Cancellations, returns and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

6. Consultations and programmes

• Consultation fees are payable in advance and confirm your slot.
• Rescheduling is possible with reasonable notice, subject to availability.
• A missed appointment without notice may be charged in full, since the slot cannot be re-offered.
• Programme fees cover the stated duration and inclusions. Supplements and investigations are charged separately unless explicitly bundled.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to break any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or network connected to the service.
• Interfere with the site, introduce malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on it.
• Scrape, copy or republish our content, product data or article text without written permission.
• Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your association with any person or organisation.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, articles, images, branding, layout and software — is owned by Metabulix Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may read it and share links to it. You may not reproduce it commercially without our written permission.

9. Content you submit

Where you submit a review, question or testimonial, you confirm it is your own and true, and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. We may remove anything unlawful, misleading, or which makes a medical claim we cannot support.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Changes

We may amend these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the seat of our registered office.
